The Associated Students of Stanford University serve the needs of 14,000 graduate and undergraduate students. The elected members represent the student voice to administration and faculty members. They advocate for student concerns and push new initiatives forward. ASSU is the central focal point of all student concerns and aims to address these issues.
Stanford Student Enterprises (SSE) was originally chartered with three goals; namely to: (1) Guarantee the long term financial viability of the Associated Students of Stanford University (ASSU); (2) Provide valuable services to the Stanford Community; and (3) Afford a premier entrepreneurial experience on campus.
