Student Affairs Meeting Services (SAMS) is an auxiliary unit at Stanford University that supports essential spaces within our communities. We are responsible for managing and reserving both indoor and outdoor spaces on campus for a variety of events, including meetings, training sessions, conferences, career recruitment events, milestone celebrations, and University Big 5 events.
SAMS coordinates events in and around Tresidder Memorial Union, the Old Union Complex, and the White Plaza area. We provide comprehensive event planning services, including audio/visual equipment, catering, entertainment, janitorial services, event parking, and room setups, in collaboration with both internal and external vendor partners.
